Air-fried crab stick crackers
Many "pop-up" stalls or heartland bakeries are selling this goodie at a hefty price tag! Why pay so much when you can create your own healthy air fried version at home? You can fry and eat at the same time without much guilt too! Hee...
Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 1 packet of Dodo crab stick (or any other brand you prefer)
Method
- Remove crab sticks from its packaging
- Unwrap each crab stick and unroll to a flat sheet
- Tear the crab stick into pieces of about 1cm wide
- Lay out on a baking tray to allow it to dry
- Once dried, spray cooking oil onto the crab stick pieces to coat evenly
- Preheat air fryer at 160 deg
- Air fry for 5mins, stir
- Repeat for another 10 mins with 2-3 mins interval in between to stir
- Store in air tight container when cooled.
Note:
- For even frying, do not fry too much at one go
- You may add some rice flour to coat the crab sticks to prevent sticking
